One of the easiest Halloween decoration ideas is creating a group of bats flying across a blank wall.
Try them above the fireplace, climbing the staircase, around a mirror or spreading across an entryway wall.
The trick is to keep them concentrated in one area instead of placing bats everywhere.
That creates much more impact while still keeping the room simple.

Changing one piece of artwork is an incredibly easy way to give a room a Halloween makeover.
